This review is to warn others about a serious and unresolved gift card fraud issue involving Shoppers Drug Mart. I received a $200 Amazon gift card from Shoppers Drug Mart as a birthday gift from a family member and it was never used until about three months later when we tried to redeem it. At that point, the balance showed $0 — the full amount had already been spent. Amazon confirmed that the card had already been redeemed and advised that this is consistent with gift card fraud, directing us back to Shoppers Drug Mart where the card was purchased. Shoppers Drug Mart confirmed the gift card was activated correctly and refused to do any further investigation. In the end, both companies deflected accountability, and no refund, replacement, or resolution was offered. The result is a complete loss of $200, even though the card was compromised before it was purchased. Shoppers Drug Mart continues to sell gift cards but provides no meaningful protection to customers when fraud occurs. I will not purchase gift cards from Shoppers Drug Mart again and strongly advise others to be cautious.

The best shoppers in town. The pharmacists are knowledgeable and helpful! Also the new owner PJ always goes above and beyond. I highly recommend speaking to him regarding your medications.

I came in for a recommendation for vitamins and the new associate pharmacist Puranjay was very helpful with the recommendation. He went above and beyond with going over interactions or any possible side effects. Much appreciated! Definitely recommend!
