Mr Kin at the pharmacy has a bad attitude. It’s obvious he detests talking to or dealing with the public. After bringing in a prescription for an injection I'm told I cannot receive it unless I book an appointment online. So I do, every time slot is open, but ok. I then go in during my booked time slot, and I'm told I still can't get the injection. Why insist to book even? Lazy or just telling lies to give the brush-off? Disgraceful waste of time. Take your business elsewhere if you'd rather a professional who cares.

Although Shoppers is usually more expensive than many other grocery stores, I still shop here often because it’s the closest store to my home. I usually buy essentials like dairy, bananas, and eggs here since the prices are fairly similar to other places and it’s more convenient than going farther away. They also sometimes have good flyer deals that make the prices feel more reasonable. The supermarket staff are always very polite and helpful, although I’ve had weaker customer service experiences in the beauty section.

This review is for the pharmacy — and the pharmacy only. I’ve been coming to this Shoppers for years, but lately the pharmacy has been consistently brutal. The female pharmacists I’ve dealt with have been dismissive, unhelpful, and shockingly poor at communication. Every visit feels like an inconvenience to them. It’s the bare minimum, if that. Simple questions feel like a such burden. Basic courtesy feels optional. I’ve walked out more than once wondering why I didn’t just go anywhere else. There’s a locally owned pharmacy steps away on the corner and an LD a few blocks up on Robson. Do yourself a favour and go there instead. Unless you enjoy unnecessary frustration, avoid this pharmacy.
