Our Tempurpedic Mattress from Sleep Country West Van was deemed defective after only 6 yrs and after many many pictures asked for by Sleep Country they deemed it defective and set up delivery of a replacement mattress, however on the day of delivery we had a mishap with a hairdryer as we were multitasking in getting ready and preparing the mattress for the delivery guys - it left a circle burn mark in the mattress ( that was already deemed defective and the pictures we sent showed no prior damage ) - long story short they refused to make the exchange. So we felt soooo disheartened by this and the fact that such a large company would not be understanding to our plight. Needless to say, we replaced our deemed defective mattress with another mattress from another company that heard our frustration and took care of us very well.

We purchased two mattresses from this store a few years ago. Over time, one of them developed issues. The surface has become extremely uneven, with noticeable dips and rises, and there is a sunken area in the middle that makes sleeping on it very uncomfortable. We always use bed sheets and change them regularly to keep the mattress clean and fresh. When I contacted the store, they confirmed that the mattress was still under warranty. However, they asked me to complete some paperwork and submit five photos. After providing everything they requested, they abruptly denied my claim, citing a stain on the mattress as their reason. I explained that the faint stain was due to natural sweat buildup over the years—something completely normal for any used mattress—but they refused to reconsider, claiming it was part of their policy. I fail to see how a minor stain is relevant to the poor quality of the mattress and the structural issue it has developed. Yet, they ignored my concerns and stopped responding. It feels like they were just looking for an excuse to avoid honouring the warranty. Very disappointing customer service!

Excellent experience! Nicholas is a fantastic sales person and helped me get a great deal on a Kingsdown mattress. I highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to shop here again.
