I had an excellent experience at The Brick South Edmonton. What started as a less-than-ideal experience was completely turned around thanks to Manager Dale and Sales Consultant Deepthi. Their professionalism, patience, and genuine commitment to customer service made all the difference. They took the time to address my concerns, answer all my questions, and ensure I was completely satisfied. Their outstanding product knowledge and willingness to go above and beyond transformed my experience into a very positive one. Thank you, Dale and Deepthi, for your exceptional service. I will definitely be back for future furniture purchases and highly recommend The Brick South Edmonton to anyone looking for a team that truly cares about its customers.

I don’t typically write a poor review with any business. However, the way The Brick South Edmonton handled what should have been a straightforward warranty repair has been incredibly frustrating due to repeated delays, poor communication, and a lack of follow-through. We purchased a sectional from The Brick in Dec 2024 and genuinely love the couch. Unfortunately, our recommendation of The Brick has been soured by this experience. One seam on the recliner split apart. A technician repaired it, but the same seam split again after. When he returned, he advised it could not be repaired again and that The Brick would need to order replacement fabric or replace the piece entirely. From Nov 21, 2025 until early Feb 2026, I received no updates. After unanswered calls, I went into the store and was told on Feb 5 that the replacement part would arrive within a week and I’d be contacted when it arrived. I was grateful to finally know the solution. No one called. On Mar 26, after again being unable to get through by phone, I returned to the store and was told the part had arrived and a technician would contact me within three days. Again, no call came. I returned on Apr 23 and was again told I’d hear back within days. I still didn’t hear from the tech until May 3. He mentioned The Brick had only contacted him on Apr 27 which was 4 days after they said they emailed. The tech also told me that the part had apparently been cancelled on Mar 27, which only added to the confusion, but I assume was because they temporarily couldn’t find the original piece. The technician came on May 4, but the replacement fabric was mismatched. The original sectional is grey-white while the replacement piece was yellow-white and noticeably different. Even the technician agreed it looked worse and confirmed the colour difference against an unexposed section of the couch. He advised the recliner section would now need full replacement. On May 7, after again receiving no communication, I returned to the store and asked to speak with a manager. Instead, I was told they would replace the recliner section. I specifically asked whether the new piece would match the existing sectional and was assured it would. When I asked what would happen if it didn’t match, I was told, “They’ll fix it.” When the replacement arrived, both delivery drivers agreed the colour difference was obvious. I refused the replacement because the mismatch looked worse than the original seam issue. I finally received my first direct call from The Brick on May 14. No reasonable resolution was offered. We were told to either accept the mismatched replacement or accept a credit for the recliner and 80% of the sectional. Replacing the sectional with the same model would now cost roughly $1,000 more, which is unreasonable for a seam issue. I was also told that if the issue had occurred within the first year, the sectional would have qualified for full replacement. I pointed out both seam failures occurred within the first year, at which point the representative backtracked. We asked for a refund on the recliner portion so we could repair it independently, but were told only store credit would be offered. I again requested a manager and was told I’d receive a call back within 15 minutes. That call never came. Two days later, I instead received a call attempting to reschedule delivery of the same mismatched recliner that we had already refused. The representative was extremely confused about our situation and was supposed to request a manager to call back. I’m still waiting. At this point, the most frustrating part has been the lack of communication and the amount of time wasted repeatedly going into the store just to get basic updates. The sectional itself is beautiful, but the after-sale service experience has been incredibly disappointing.
