Vivint was great before bought by Telus. Now it has the worst customer service if not none, and most difficult installation schedule. I moved and has waited two months to schedule a re-installation at my new home, but still no technician found. At least one hour for every call to customer service and easily get cut off then you need to call again. You need to pray for good luck before calling them. And before I move when the system was still operating at my previous home, there were a couple of false alarm triggered accidentally, but no one called me to confirm. They did call every time there was a false alarm before Telus take it. I really doubt if the security system is monitored any more. I used to recommend Vivint to my friends, before Telus stepped in. Now, stay away from it. It is such a pain and waste of money. They still charge me monthly fee while I’m waiting for a re-installation. Telus’s advertisement claims it’s Canada’s #1 security system. I think that means #1 from the bottom.

This company is criminal, we signed a 3 year contract, on year 3 we moved to a new home, they snuck in the fine print another 3 year contract, so we have paid for 2 years even tho we switched companies. Today i called to cancel and after being transferred 4 times and on hold for 40 minutes to be told i need to email a reason why im cancelling, they just wouldn’t cancel over the phone. This is s very bad company and they will screw you every chance they get
