  Hate my expensive bed from Zeds. I haven't had a good night's sleep since we purchased our bed just over a year ago.( Our first matress we had to borrow a vehicle to get do we didnt have to pay 170 delivery fee from Victoria to Duncan.) We were 70 and wanted to buy canadian and support small businesses. The first night(Friday march 14 2025) with the Cascade was horrible. I could not get comfortable and hardly slept at all. The second night was the same except I was in tears by morning as I couldn't hardly get up or walk. It was like sleeping on a cement floor. By Monday I was in so much pain I called the store to tell them there was something wrong with the mattress. The manager Kim said to me "I am not your mother but give it some time to get used to it. " So I thought ok I will give it a few more days. By the end of the week I decided to change the sheets and there was ripples on the top of the mattress that when I remade the bed you could still see them through the mattress protector and sheets. (We had to purchase new sheets as well because the mattress is so deep). I called the store again and complained about the mattress and the manager said she would talk to the owner and show him the pictures I took that I sent her. The owner finally got ahold of us by email only (never by phone)and said they could get it fixed as a warranty claim and I would have to contact the manufacturer but I could not get a refund. I said I didnt want it fixed I wanted a different mattress and he wouldn't do that unless I purchased a different one. So we went back to the store and we spent over an hour checking out different mattresses. We settled on a more expensive mattress, Tantalus, and paid the difference. Once again they wanted 170 to pickup the defective mattress and drop off the new. We are seniors on a pension and this bed was costing over 2 thousand dollars with taxes. Way more than we wanted to spend . So we rented a uhaul for 50 to take the mattress back and pick up the new one on May 2 2025. I was looking forward to a good night's sleep but it's been just over a year and I have not had a full night sleep or restful sleep . The 600 dollar mattress we had before this one lasted up 7 years and was more comfortable. I can't put a topper on this one as the mattress is so deep my sheets wouldn't fit with one. I can't even sell it as I won't get even half my money back. CHECK AROUND

  I purchased a bed from here last week, Matt was the person who helped me in the store. Every question I asked he could answer, Very good price as well and to hear a lot of material in the mattress was made on Victoria, BC. Also Friday came Matt delivered the mattress, Very quick in and out process and he is the kindest person. I highly recommend to buy here you will have a great experience ❤️ I will be buying all beds here in the future ❤️
