Alexis Lodge staff are kind, gentle, and caring. Christiana is very professional and passionate about taking care of the elderly. Thank you, Alexis Lodge staff, for caring for my mother, who has dementia.

What can I say about Alexis Lodge. From the first time we met the Director, Christiana, I knew that Alexis Lodge was a special place. She is incredibly compassionate, understanding, knowledgeable, and kind and I knew that our dad would be taken great care of here. Alexis Lodge is a home with a small number of residents (most have dementia) which makes for an easier and more comfortable adjustment phase. The staff are friendly and loving to the residents and take a lot of time to make sure that they are supported and well cared for. We were so worried that our dad would never adjust to living outside of his home but within a few weeks, dad is happy and well adjusted. I highly recommend Alexis Lodge for your loved one.

My father stayed at Alexis Lodge for almost 2 years. Alexis Lodge provided care for my him that was far beyond anything I expected and far exceeded the level of care provided at a well known Long Term Care facility that my father was later transferred to. The staff there were truly unique and showed a tremendous amount of patience and compassion for my father, who at times could not be dealt with in this manner by his own family. Members of my father’s immediate and extended family didn’t like how the place looked. I will say that the care by the staff at these facilities is of far greater importance than the way the facility looks. My father truly enjoyed his stay at Alexis Lodge, but wasn’t happy at the Long Term Care facility. If I had known this I would never have transferred my father. Alexis Lodge is truly a hidden gem!
