My wife needed hospice care for 2 months at AMICA Westboro Park. During that time the AMICA staff took over my wife’s médications and managed her pills through CareRX. At the end of the stay I payed a bill in excess of $26000 without question. Two months later I received a bill from CareRX for $166.89 and at that point I hadn’t even heard of CareRX. I called AMICA to say that surely I had amply paid for our stay but they never got back to me. I paid the $166.89 but I was annoyed. My conclusion is be careful with costs. If you aren’t careful you will be taken advantage of.

My mother is currently living there. Very helpful staff, good food. Many activities for the seniors. Clean and comfortable.

My mom spent the last 3 years of her life in Amica at Westboro Park. While she objected to leaving her home and to moving into a retirement home, Amica staff and residents helped mom settle in quickly and she soon came to love living there. She often told us that she felted loved by the staff through the care that they gave her. She considered them to be her “extended family”. Knowing that she felt this way certainly gave us peace of mind.
