  My elderly father has advanced Alzheimers disease and was recently hospitalized for close to 2 weeks with pneumonia. He was on the critical wait list for longterm care but wait time are prolonged and he was dwindling in hospital. He returned home briefly and it became clear that even with maximal support from Ontario Health at Home we would not be able to manage. Arbor trace came to the rescue. They immediately recognized the critical nature of the situation and the difficult emotional transition we were facing and expertly facilitated our urgent transfer from home to the care of Arbor Trace. Nicole Boucher was our person of first contact and she was particularly warm and compassionate in helping us through the process - lots paperwork with transfer of information from doctors and pharmacy. We really needed her expert support as we were exhausted. All of the staff were welcoming and even helped us move in furniture items. Once there, our father quickly developed relationships with his caregivers. The PSWs and Nursing staff were caring and professional. The facilities are well designed, a locked ward for safety and central nursing station overseeing all areas. They have room monitors ( motion detectors) which were particularly reassuring for us as our father was at risk of falling. We felt safe leaving our loved one there and received updates from staff whenever there was concern. Would recommend Arbor Trace to anyone requiring this level of support.

  Arbor trace has made us feel so relaxed and at ease. They have made this transition in our aunts life so simple and easy. The staff are friendly and always have a smile. Everything was explained to us in terms we understood. Arbor trace is warm and inviting and the large windows make it so bright. Cannot wait to see the gardens in the spring and sit out there with our aunt. Highly recommend this facility.

  I had the pleasure of touring Arbor Trace Memory Care last week and was incredibly impressed from the moment I walked in. The entire home — from the main entrance to the halls, suites, and even the kitchen — was spotless, which clearly reflects the pride the team takes in their community. What stood out most was the genuine engagement between staff and residents. You could truly see the passion and care the team has for the people they support. I would highly recommend Arbor Trace to anyone looking for quality care and additional support for their loved ones.
