  I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the staff at Aruga for their support and assistance during the challenging time of caring for my husband's mother. A special thank you to Leanne, who was an exceptional caregiver and provided outstanding care and compassion. The entire team was easy to work with, accommodating, and flexible in meeting our needs. Their support was a tremendous help to my husband as he cared for his mother. We truly appreciate the kindness, dedication, and assistance they provided throughout this journey.   I've never written a Google review before, but Aruga is a company I truly believe deserves one. As someone who works in home care, I've seen firsthand how challenging this work can be. Caring for vulnerable people requires patience, compassion, integrity, and a genuine love for helping others. What I appreciate most about Aruga is that these aren't just words—they're values that are reflected in the people who work here and in the care that's provided every day. Even though the company has grown quickly, it has kept a very personal and down-to-earth feel. There is a strong sense of teamwork, open communication, and mutual respect. Staff are supported, listened to, and valued, which creates a positive environment that ultimately benefits the clients we serve. The hiring standards are high, and it shows. Aruga looks for people with not only the right qualifications, but also the right character. The caregivers I work alongside are dedicated, compassionate, and genuinely invested in the well-being of their clients. What makes me proud to be part of this team is knowing that the focus is always on providing quality care with dignity and respect. Every client is treated as an individual, not just a schedule or a task. Families can feel confident that their loved ones are receiving care from people who truly care.   I have had the privilege of being part of Aruga Home Care since its early beginnings, working alongside Ali Cada, the Founder and Director of Aruga. From the start, what stood out to me was Aruga’s focus on making home care feel more personal, creative, and meaningful. Rather than only supporting day-to-day needs, Aruga places real value on connection, self-expression, memory, music, storytelling, movement, and activities that bring joy and purpose into a client’s life. As one of Aruga’s first staff members, it has been incredible to watch the company grow over the past year. I have seen firsthand the positive impact Aruga has had on clients and their families, from improved engagement and connection to the meaningful relationships built between clients, caregivers, and staff. From a staff perspective, one of the things I appreciate most about Aruga is the care taken when matching staff with clients. Personality, strengths, abilities, and the unique needs of each client are all considered to help create the best possible fit. This makes a real difference in the overall experience for everyone involved. Aruga also provides a supportive and communicative work environment. Staff are given clear expectations, helpful guidance, and the support needed to provide thoughtful, high-quality care. There is a strong emphasis on making sure each staff member feels prepared and confident in meeting the needs of the clients they support. I have had countless wonderful experiences with clients and families through Aruga, and many memories that I will always cherish. As a staff member, I would describe Aruga as a welcoming, supportive, and purpose-driven place to work, with a genuine commitment to providing compassionate, creative, and person-centered care.
