The new psw’s are great , longtimers know the system and screw up my appointments, management is very rude , contacting Ontario government

My father had a nurse come out yesterday and as a result of her actions was taken to hospital by ambulance this morning. Do not use this company. The nurses either do not show up and have to be called over and over or when they do show their knowledge is lacking. This place is a liability waiting to happen.

My mother was having hydration therapy through I.V bags and the nurse was to come and hook her up and take her off. I ended up doing that as an untrained civilian and we would only see her once a week. I wasnt ok with that but did it and did it well untill my mother had a pick line put in and I was no longer comfortable with connecting and disconnecting the hydration bags. I told the nurse named Stephanie I was uncomfortable and would like her to come and connect and disconnect her. Stephanie's response was "so you expect me to come out every other day?" "Well yes that is you job" I said. She goes "I'm not staying here for four hours". Then immediately said we were attacking and abusing her and yet there was no raised voices or profanity, just an opinion from adult to adult and she acted like a child and stormed out of my mom's apartment to only report it to her superiors that we yelled at her and told her to leave which is so far from the truth. Of course her superiors only took her side of the story and now my mom has to find other care and in the mean time I'm doing procedures I'm not comfortable with and have no training or qualification for. Thanks Bayshore for you low quality of care and lazy nurses. Do not use Bayshore if you care about your family.
