My mom will be 95 years old in a few weeks. We moved her into Bethany Place after researching and touring many seniors facilities in Regina and Saskatoon, as mom has children living in both cities. We cannot say enough about the facility, staff and care my mother receives! Anyone going through the decision of finding a safe and amazing place for your elderly parent to live, I give Bethany Place 5 stars! From checking-in on mom 3x a day (breakfast, lunch and after supper) to the wonderful meals that are served, including homemade bread for breakfast which I personally enjoy when I stay with mom, as well as the beautiful gardens in spring and summer that the residence can enjoy. When we moved mom in, we opted for a hide a bed with a comfortable mattress and we stay with mom frequently when visiting there is also guest suites available to rent for out of town family if needed The staff are attentive and kind, and it is a Christian based facility that has a focus on continual spiritual input events, and focus. There are a lot of activities, although my mom is in a stage of her life where she doesn’t participate in some of them, she still attends the events in the fellowship hall, as well as a weekly Bible study and various groups that come in either singers or speakers on a regular basis there is also a hair salon where mom gets her hair done weekly and she very much. Looks forward to that. I give my unreserved recommendation to this wonderful facility and encourage anyone who is looking for a wonderful spot for their parent or loved one to have a tour of Bethany Place in addition should mom’s needs change where she requires more care. There is a villa just across the hall from my mom‘s suite which gives a higher level of care so when that time comes, mom would not have to leave. She would just transition to the other area of care. I know there’s also apartments that provide independent living however, when we moved mom in, she already required assisted care. To the staff of Bethany… hats off to a spectacular way you care for elders. We love you! ❤️
