  We called Beyond Care before bringing Dad home from the hospital knowing he would need supplemental coverage beyond what the Province Care provides after leaving the hospital. We were referred to Beyond Care by a neighbor that also used their services and she explained that we would almost instantly tell the difference in care between them and the provincial care. Alfred was the point of contact and he was incredibly fast and thorough. He offered to assess dad's needs while he was still at the hospital so we all had a good understanding for when he came home. The transition from Hospital care to Home care was not easy for dad, but the service we soon received from Beyond Care turned out to be the best investment we ever made. Alfred and his team were so patient and knowledgeable regarding how we could further advocate for dad in our Health Care system. CPAS (Client Patient Access Services) which coordinates all of Dad's care at home was not easy to navigate. We were naive and new and didn't know who to speak with or what to do in many instances. Alfred proved in the many meetings we had with him, how invested he was in dad and his well being, making recommendations in areas where he believed dad would benefit. It's not an easy job caring for a loved one (especially one with a degenerative disease) and life has a way of making it feel incredibly overwhelming. Beyond Care was always personable and willing to step in where we needed them. They always put our kind at ease and I never worried when they were with Dad because I knew the level of care and respect they gave dad was the same I give him. I would not hesitate to recommend this company and their people to anyone who is looking for care for a loved one. Not all company's offer the flexibility to charge for 1hr/visit, most charge minimum 3hrs. When working with Beyond Care you will be able to tell how much they care. They are always prompt, reliable and caring. Thank you so much to Alfred and the team for all they did for dad before he was accepted into long term care ❤️❤️❤️

  I was extremely impressed by the treatment that Beyond Care - and Xerlyn specifically - was able to provide me. First, they were able to accommodate me even though I requested many hours of support (recovery after extensive oral surgery) on less than a day's notice. The caregiver that was assigned to me had around a decade of experience working with patients, and this undoubtedly made my recovery faster than it would have been with someone less experienced. The hourly charge was also very reasonable. They even had another caregiver drop by and deliver some necessities during the stay. I really couldn't be more pleased.
