My father, Bob, lived at Cavell until he recently moved to extended care. The transition took time as a bed was not immediately available. The situation was stressful, to say the least. Brian and all staff were extremely kind, caring and professional and helped us navigate his moves within Cavell and the many challenges we encountered before ultimately relocating at 3Links. Up until my Dad’s health challenges he fully participated in all that Cavell has to offer. I enjoyed many meals with him, which were healthy and delicious, as well as extremely varied! I am going to miss the many friends I made while visiting - staff and residents. In fact, I know I’ll be back to visit. I know my brother plans on being a resident in 10yrs, perhaps I will too. Cavell Gardens is amazing!!

My wife and I moved in to Cavell Gardens in the beginning of November 2024, after living in our 2000+ square foot house for 54 years. It is a huge adjustment to to our lifestyle. The staff here are absolutely awesome. They go out of their way to make sure every thing meets your needs. My number one priority to consider is the food. We love the food. The variety, quality, and presentation make us feel like we are on a cruise ship everyday. In the seven weeks here I have only gone off the main menu once. the options are almost endless. The balance of the day is filled with all kinds of activities to keep you busy, my wife is starting to take advantage of these. The other major item I love is the mini bus tours, I drove truck almost 3 million miles in my life and now its like having a private Chauffeur take us out. (Van Dusen Gardens Christmas lights and the museum of Anthropology at UBC ). Also a lunch is offered once a month as a bus tour. The last Friday of the month we celebrate birthdays at 2:30 pm with happy hour, cake, and live entertainment. We have no regrets making the move here, and hope we have many more years of enjoyment here.

I arrived here four months ago and am very very happy to be here. The facilities and services are excellent (photos of my sitting room attached) and the staff are kind, helpful, supportive and knowledgeable. My fellow residents are also friendly and kind. The location is wonderful, with a lovely quiet street to the front, perfect for walking, and a charming business-filled Main Street a block behind. Pretty much everything I need is within walking distance or is just a short Uber drive away. I look forward to many happy years here.
