First, the good. The lobby staff are always friendly as are the dining room staff. They offer many activities for residents to participate in if they choose. The breakfast and lunches and soups are very good. The doctor is easily accessible once a week and the wellness centre staff are very helpful. Now the bad. This place is not amputee friendly. I am not sure what would happen if there was ever a fire and the elevator was inaccessible. They told me when I moved my father in that they would be getting a wheelchair accessible van and it was on backorder because of Covid. They LIED. I no longer believe they have any intentions to purchase a wheelchair accessible van. In hindsight, I would have moved my father into Fox Hollow. It is a shame that my father cannot attend any of the outings that he would be interested in going to. He is unable to get in and out of the shower in his apartment because the moulding is not suitable for a transfer board and it's too small for a bath chair. He has had to be sponge bathed since moving in. Again, Fox Hollow would have been the better option. They used to serve fillet every second Friday, but now they rarely serve beef. They serve a lot of fish which many residence like, but my father does not. And they only serve one entrée on Saturdays and Sundays. My father eats a lot of sandwiches for dinner. Overall, I think Richmond Woods is wonderful for mobile people that like fish. If you are an amputee.... Look elsewhere.

All of the staff at Richmond Woods Apartments are excellent! We have been very impressed. At this time we especially want to commend Neelum (at the main reception desk). She is always very friendly and personable, meets everyone with a smile, always takes time for any questions, is very knowledgeable, and is thus much appreciated. G & S Blok

My little dog Bella got out and was running around outside. A Good Samaritan picked her up and brought her back and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you Lord and thank you Neelum Amjad (my angel) at the front desk for her absolutely wonderful help in telephoning and posting pics. I am deaf and Neelum has always gone far beyond to help me when I needed it. All the staff at Richmond Woods are just wonderful people and I recommend Richmond Wood without any hesitation at all. Blessings❤️❤️❤️
