I urge you to place your loved ones elsewhere. It's a beautiful location, but it's poorly managed; care isn't always provided, there's little to no supervision, the staff isn't very friendly, and they don't seem to have received adequate training to care for semi-autonomous residents. The processes are manual and outdated. If you visit, I suggest you look at the board in the dining room with photos of residents, which, according to the staff, is used to identify everyone and ensure they've come to eat, but the board hasn't been updated in over a year! Another clue: don't look at the decor—look at the residents: dirty hair, a strong smell of urine. This is not what we want for our loved ones who are losing their independence.

I can’t say anything about these other reviews except to say they go completely against our own family experience with our mother. Our mother has been a resident for about a year and a half. She loves the place and so does every other resident I talk to - and I talk to a lot of them - every time I go. The staff is incredibly friendly. And I have seen very little turnover in the year and a half. All 6 of the original caregivers on my mother’s floor are still there over a year later. Same for the medical team, kitchen and cleaning staff. The food is excellent quality and bountiful. I frequently visit my mother at mealtime and I am constantly impressed with the care and variety that goes into its preparation. Not only that, but if they are serving something you don’t like, the chef with prepare you one of many alternatives (salads, sandwiches, omelettes, bacon and eggs. french fries). On holidays they bring in a guest chef and encourage family to attend. These are completely original menus of excellent quality and create a very festive environment usually with decorations, flowers, music and non alcoholic beer and champagne. Our mother’s room like all the others is very large, big enough for a queen bed, full living room, diner and dressing area. The floors are hardwood and the entire place is impeccably cleaned and maintained. There are two full time handymen and 7days a week cleaning. Whenever I call, staff knows exactly who my mother is and when I talk to the medical team they are always fully up to date on how my mother is doing and feeling. But more than anything, the best feedback comes directly from our mother who tells me every single time I visit what a nice place it is and how well she is treated. It’s a joy to visit her here and gift to know she is so happy and well treated. Un gros merci à toute l’équipe, vous êtes formidables! PS: Go to the Chateau Vincent d’Indy Facebook page if you want to get better feel for the place.
