This place is terrible, especially for patients who are nearing the end of their lives. My father was dying and was left unattended while he was struggling to breathe. The experience was horrendous. We were never notified that he was nearing the end, nor were we told when he stopped breathing for several seconds and the on-call nurse believed he had passed away. The lack of communication and care was shocking. I find the behavior of the staff cruel and inhumane. If this happened to my father, I am certain it has happened to many others as well. The physiotherapy care was also extremely poor. The physiotherapist showed little concern for my father’s condition. He was left in a very uncomfortable position, and instead of helping to stretch and properly position his body, they were prepared to leave him curled in a fetal position. I ultimately had to seek external advice to ensure he received basic care because the staff responsible seemed incapable or unwilling to provide it. The system feels deeply broken. There appears to be little to no oversight or accountability for what is happening, which allows this kind of neglect to continue unchecked. It is devastating to witness how people are poorly treated.

The staff are attentive, kind, and great at what they do. They seem to manage a consistently positive attitude toward the patients. I feel good about the care my Mom receives there.
