The moment my father arrived at Crossroads, I felt an immense sense of relief knowing he was finally in a safe, comforting place after a hellish chain of hospitalizations. The staff at Crossroads were absolute angels, amazingly attentive and empathetic, and though we were there less than 24 hours in the end, the care was exemplary. My only regret is that we didn't make the decision to move to hospice sooner - there was a one week wait for a bed to open (which was completely understandable, given that we were waiting for another family's loved one to pass away), and during that time I do believe my father suffered significantly from lack of appropriate care due to poor nursing compounded with staffing shortages at the hospital we were at. In comparison, I have nothing but positive things to say about our experience at Crossroads. I would highly encourage people to start the palliative care discussion early as I believe my father would have been spared a lot of suffering at the end of his life should we have initiated these discussions earlier.

During the time our beloved Val stayed in Crossroads the staff treated her with such loving and respectful care that they made a difficult situation somewhat easier to bear. The staff all deserve and have our highest praise and repect. Thank you, again.

When my beloved sister Deane Perkins went to Crossroads Hospice knowing that she was dying, she was so very well looked after. Nothing was too much for the staff to do to make her comfortable and the volunteers were surely angels in human form. This is one organization that I will monetarily support as long as I live. They surely deserve it.
