This place (Unit 7C) where the manager (name Shelly) never respond to any of my concerns, too busy or don’t care and the doctor is hardly around. If you have other places to stay, STAY AWAY from this place.

My uncle passed away in October 2023. The care that the nurses gave him were second to none. they treated him with respect and dignity and made the last weeks of his life as comfortable as they possibly could. they contacted me regularly with any isses/changes of his health, and were always more than willing to talk about anything that happened during the day. the only thing that I would like to note is the terrible parking that this location hasu but that had nothing to do with the level of care they gave my uncle.

I found the experience of going to visit a friend in 9Y (Palliative Care) calming. The staff I encountered at the front desk (Brian - I hope I have that right) to the Nurses in 9Y were friendly and caring. I found the overall space to be serene and well set up to accomodate the patients and their family as the final transition starts. The warm colours, the private rooms and the expansive windows are all geared to remind us of life. My friend is living her life tills she passes in the best place possible.
