My father has Stage 5/6 dementia and has been staying here for about a year. This illness runs in our family and my grandfather on his side also had it. As far as I can tell ExtendiCare Rouge Valley is giving my father the best care possible given his condition. When my grandfather had the same condition many decades ago, his care level was deplorable, the smell in the building was like a barn. Sadly I hear that many homes are still exactly like that. But that isn't the case here. I commend this location for doing an excellent job with his care.

Staff is great , some doctors are busy and don't spend time with residents.healtcare is the worst Medical treatments a are delayed . Nearest hospital is centenery, so ambulance will take your loved ones to that hospital which is the worst in toronto health system.
