1st. Place is in dire need of cleanliness and repairs, especially filthy walls needing paint. Excessive amounts of homeless and drug addicts enter thr building deficating and urinating in the stair wells also often leaving drug pipes and stinch odors behind. This building is in the drug infestation area of Hamilton.

This place looks like an aging building that had outlived its lifespan with decaying infrastructure from the outside. I would not consider this place at all. Public housing is usually in squalid conditions and seniors looking for a better, competitive deal for their money will have better luck finding reasonably priced units on the private market.

We didn't have much of a choice. My father is in the secure transitional care which seems fine and the staff are very caring. However since it is classed as a retirement home there is A LOT you have to pay for out of pocket. Admittedly the elevators smell not great and could use more than a few upgrades. But the transitional secure unit is good. All I can say is welcome.e to Ford's version of Long Term Care.
