Gorge Road Health Centre provides an important service for the community, and it's easy to overlook how much work goes into caring for residents in a facility like this. During my visits, I found the staff to be friendly and professional. I also had the opportunity to speak with Stephanie, one of the social workers, and she was especially pleasant, upbeat, and easy to talk to. Positive interactions like that can make a real difference for residents and families navigating difficult situations. The rooms were clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully laid out with built-in storage and amenities that help make the space more comfortable for residents. Working in healthcare and long-term care is often demanding and can be a thankless job at times, so it's worth recognizing the effort that staff put in every day to support the people who rely on these services. Overall, my experience was positive, and I'm grateful facilities like this exist for those who need them.

The building has a major mouse infestation that has been going on for a number of years. My mom has seen several in her room as well as other residents who are on Bridgeview unit

My friend was there for a year. She said food was horrible, this is fixable Also mice making nest in her Kleenex box. Really . This also can be rectified. Staff were relatively good except for some of the higher paid staff. Not at all acomadating , quite vindictive some times which isn't acceptable at all. Where are the accreditation people ???
