The lady at the front desk is very rude. My god. I’ve encountered many different home with friendliness and kindness. My First time here asking for the manager and I’m given attitude and rudeness. Not a good look seeing how she’s the first person you talk to when you enter the building. I can’t imagine how everyone else is treated let alone the residents.

The staff try their best to support the health, safety and dignity of the residents. Are there the occasional bumps along the way? Of course there are but the sincere interest and genuine support of staff members helping residents is evident every day. Bravo!!!!!

Both my parents have been at Baker Center for 3 years now. Their needs are very different (one in a wheelchair with dementia, one blind) but their individual care has been exemplary. The staff is attentive to their individual needs, the doctor and nurses are always on top of any new ailments, etc my parents may be experiencing. I looked at several homes before choosing Baker Center. Baker was by far the best in terms of attentiveness, quality of care and service, food accomodations for my parents and extra curricular activities suited to their abilities. Would not have moved them to any other home. It is 5-star in every way.
