We have been so please with the care we have received for our family member from Highview Residence KW. They are kind, loving and treat everyone in their care with dignity and respect. They do their best to encourage folks to participate in daily activities or at least encourage them to come out of their rooms and watch. We are glad we chose Highview for this stage of life for our family member.

Highview was such a blessing for my mom who had Alzheimer’s and Dementia. The design of the physical space was so important to my mom’s comfort and independence. The small intimate home always allowed her to navigate her way even when she wasn’t sure of where she wanted to go. The furnishings made it look like a home, not like a hospital, and having her own furniture in her room provided familiarity and a safe space. There is such a warmth and calmness to the home. The care she received was exceptional. My mom provided certain challenges with regards to her resistance to care and the team worked tirelessly to find a way to work with her in a way that was best for my mom, that met her needs not just physically but emotionally. Since Highview can address resident's needs right through to palliative care it gives every resident the chance to stay in this comforting setting to the end and always feel like they are in a place where they are truly cared for. I will forever be grateful for the kindness, respect and care my mom was shown by all of the staff at Highview.

Finding a place that could meet my mom's changing needs was a challenge. It was such a relief to find Highview. My mother was well taken care of by a team of caring people and it was a relief for me to know that she was safe and well-looked after. It is a shame that there are not more places like this.
