All the staff at Highview London are kind, patient, knowledgeable and skilled. They respond immediately to residents who have an emotional or physical needs, and to safety alarms such as potential fall alarms. Memory care programs are offered every morning and afternoon, including proven memory enhancement programs such as Java Memory Care and the application of Montessori techniques. It is heartwarming and quite amazing to watch residents with dementia responding so positively to all the very intentional interventions. Another aspect which I have appreciated is the gentle approach by the staff in helping me adjust to having a relative suffering with dementia; I have learned a lot from them and from participating in residents activities.

Highview has been a blessing to our family. We are so pleased with the care our family member is receiving there. The admin staff were very helpful when it came to navigating all the paperwork. The nursing staff and the PSW’s are very attentive to the needs of the residents and are very kind and compassionate. We toured other care facilities and we knew instantly that Highview was the perfect fit. The facility is bright and cheerful and always clean and tidy. Our family is confident that our loved one is receiving the best care possible at Highview.

My father moved to Highview when he was 98, and seems to be happy there. I like the fact that it is a single floor cottage type facility. There is a beautiful garden for taking walks. The residents are separated into small groups which is very comfortable. There are enough staff to allow personal attention to patients. For example, they sometimes do jigsaw puzzles or reading one-on-one. Every day there is an activity. I find the staff keep me well informed of daily events, changes in medication, if he slept well, etc. I find the price reasonable and comparable to other full care premium residences. It has a high reputation in the city, and I definitely recommend Highview to my friends.
