My father was cared here by the team and it was truly incredible. From administration to the doctors, nurses, and housekeeping staff - every single person was compassionate, kind, and deeply supportive. They were like angels for my dad and for our family. Because of them, we were able to rest knowing he was in the most caring hands. A special thank you to Marel, Emily, Ciera, Julia, Claudia, Gurpreet, Dr. Vincent, and Dr. Bahl. We had personal interactions with them, which is why I am naming them here, but the team is much larger and every single person we encountered was amazing and kind. And yes, Patrizia - what a wonderful and thoughtful lady. She didn’t just make delicious soup; she always checked in on our family, making sure we had what we needed and truly making us feel at home. Some of these incredible people have genuinely changed my perspective on life. They were kind, generous, and deeply supportive during one of the hardest moments for our family. The work they do is not easy, yet they make this difficult journey feel peaceful and dignified. I don’t think I can ever thank them enough, but I will certainly do whatever I can to support their work so they can continue helping more families like ours.

Exceptional Care and Compassion at Vaughan Hospice My mother spent over two and a half months at Vaughan Hospice, and I am filled with gratitude for the extraordinary care she received throughout her stay. A heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses and PSWs who showed unwavering dedication every single day. You never missed a moment to ensure my mom was comfortable, clean, well-fed, and hydrated — always treating her with dignity and love. Your gentle presence and attention to detail brought immense peace to her final days, and comfort to our family. To the receptionists, room cleaners, and all support staff — thank you for creating an environment that radiates calm and spiritual warmth. The facility itself carries peaceful vibrations that soothe the soul, and the abundance of seating arrangements allowed our family and visitors to spend meaningful time with Mom in a serene setting. Vaughan Hospice is more than a care facility — it’s a sanctuary of compassion. We are forever grateful.
