Losing a family member is never easy, but the experience we had at Waterloo hospice was incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by staff. My mother was quickly settled into her room, which felt more like her own apartment suite than her last place of rest. The hospice has has an incredible medical staff and generous volunteers. Hospice patients and their families and friends are treated with kindness, dignity, and warmth. From massages to manicures, snack carts to à la carte meals, pet therapy to the beautiful facilities and surrounding grounds, everything is top shelf! The whole experience felt like a “warm hug “. I was completely unfamiliar with the concept of a hospice, I can tell you that the Waterloo hospice made a very difficult time in our lives so much easier. We will be forever indebted to the incredible people who work and volunteer at the Waterloo hospice.

I have now been here for over 3 days. The staff and volunteers here are absolutely amazing. The facility itself is very comfortable and has more than you could need. This place goes way above and beyond my expectations in every way. At the end of the day it is the staff that matter most. There is not one staff who isn't gentle, kind and caring to my mother. Keep up the great work. This is not an easy line of work but you bring comfort and joy in those hard days.

I would personally like to thank all of the GREAT staff at Geis Hospice for the awesome care everyone gave to my sister. She felt at home there! We thought her visit would be longer but we know she is no longer in pain. Again, thank you for looking after her around the clock so we could have some precious last moments with her.
