I have been a Companion caregiver with JLF for 2 years. I found the staff to be very responsive both in addressing issues and positive feedback. I thoroughly enjoyed my employment experience and so value their commitment and care towards their clients.

I worked as a caregiver for Just Like Family Home Care, and I can truly say that Karen and Rick are exceptional—not only in matching caregivers with the right clients, but in the genuine care they show toward their team. They consistently support their caregivers, stand behind you when needed, and sincerely appreciate the work we do. That kind of leadership makes all the difference. Although I have moved on to pursue other ventures, I remain grateful for the experience. Just Like Family is truly one of the best companies to work for—local, compassionate, and true to their name. They really do treat you like family. Karen and Rick, thank you for your kind words and for the beautiful flowers you sent. What a thoughtful and pleasant surprise—it meant so much to me.

We contracted with Just Like Family when my wife and I became unable to look after ourselves independently. We met with Karen before signing on the dotted line, and we were impressed that, unlike another company, no pressure tactics were employed. The care-givers we were sent were all good, but each had their own talents, and all were aware of my wife’s dementia. This was extremely important to us as we had heard horror stories. Karen made sure we were satisfied whenever, and for whatever reason, a change in staffing occurred. She was always available if I had questions about anything to do with my wife and/or my care. Our caregivers grew to be just like family members and, I have to say our relationship with Karen grew close over time. If you work with Just Like Family you will be in very good hands! Sally H.
