We’ve had a great experience with the caregiver assigned to my mom through “Just Like Family” Home Care Midtown. Raman has been truly wonderful! She is compassionate, attentive, and always goes above and beyond to make sure my mom feels safe and cared for. We appreciate her professionalism and kindness. In late 2021, I was looking for some home care services for my elderly aunt who lives alone and is having trouble managing. I was drawn to the name of this company because what I most wanted was for someone to go into my aunt's home when I couldn't be there and offer the kind of companionship and help that I would provide if I had more time. I wanted an agency that would care enough to get to know my aunt as if she belonged to their own family, and that is exactly what I found. Within minutes of sending my initial email inquiry, Elizabeth called me and spent a long time on the phone with me explaining the company's services and asking about my aunt. She was knowledgeable, thorough, compassionate, and organized. It was clear to me that I had stumbled across something wonderful, and I quickly signed on. I have nothing but good things to say about everything that has happened since our first conversation. Elizabeth has been very communicative and has welcomed my many questions and comments. She has sought to strategize with me to try to meet my aunt's needs as effectively as possible, and she has been quick to suggest ways to make things even better. She chose a caregiver who had experience dealing with other elderly clients whose circumstances and conditions were similar to my aunt's, and I was very impressed with the way this caregiver (Sharmaine) interacted with my aunt. I have worked in various geriatric care settings, and I can testify to the importance of having care providers who not only have experience with the elderly, but also enjoy them and desire to respect them and connect with them. You will find that in this company, and it is worth far more than the price you'll pay for their services. I highly recommend!
