I am the primary caregiver for a family member who lives in Winnipeg. I live in Alberta. I first contacted Just Like Family for a short notice urgent need matter for my family member to get an escort and ride to a doctor's appointment. Angela was incredibly helpful and comforting and ensured my aunt got to her appointment. That was the start of a long term relationship. Just Like Family has become just that - a part of the extended family available to assist me when I can't get to Winnipeg. Staff from Just Like Family have provided escorts to appointments and been companions for my family member when hospitalized. Their support has allowed me to manage matters from Alberta and focus my visits on positive quality of life activities rather than being driven by urgent appointments. I am very comfortable with the judgement and professionalism of Angela and Kenny and will continue to use Just Like Family as part of the care team for my family member.

Thank you to "Just Like Family" for matching us with a wonderful respite worker for my son with special needs. I also appreciate that Angela is always available if we have questions with their services. She was also able to provide us with a backup respite worker if needed which is very important for us to keep our routine going. I highly recommend "Just Like Family" if you are looking for respite services for your loved ones.

It is never easy to watch a loved one slip away from us due to illness, it is very difficult and sad for everyone. On my journey to help find care for my wife, I was fortunate to meet Angela and her team, they have been a wonderful team and therapeutic help for me. Edna who assists my wife is kind and caring. Angela is amazing to work with and I find it easy to plan. Appreciate all the help. Thank you!
