My grandmother stayed here In October 2021- July 2022 and it seemed to be a good fit and the staff seemed to be very friendly and helpful. Gemma specifically was cherub— so sweet to my grandma. So no complaints there. As time went on my mom and aunt became more concerned that my grandma was being neglected or missed. There was never enough staff for the amount of residents living here. About one staff member for 2 floors of residents. My mom and aunt would frequently come to visit my grandma and my grandma’s diapers would be soaked. It seemed that the caregivers were not changing the diapers frequently enough. Another instance was my grandma only drank water. My mom and aunt went to change her water while visiting and there was sour, spoiled milk in her reusable water bottle. They asked the caregivers why there was milk as my grandma never consumed milk. They said that an employee brought her 5-year-old daughter to work and it may have occurred that the little girl used my grandmas bottle— therefore they were using my grandmas water bottle to give to a child. Let’s be honest here— a child isn’t the one putting milk in the reusable water bottle— so the staff clearly did and left it. They cleaned it after my family brought it to their attention. My grandma was blind so she could have picked up her water bottle and consumed this spoiled milk— this is so unacceptable. Also, this was the tail end of COVID and they are letting children use the residents’ water bottles that they regularly use? Again, unacceptable. My grandma ended up having to go to the hospital in July 2022 due to sepsis— a blood infection. Please take a deep dive and investigate where you are leaving your loved ones. The places may have a couple good reviews but it’s important that you really read the bad reviews because as we know elder care in this country is hard to come by, as the owners are just looking to make money rather than providing quality care for the elderly. That being said, my review was hidden for two years.

Staff get 5 stars, caring and kind. Manager/owner is short tempered, accusatory, and suspicious. We moved our mother out a few months ago. Was told if I couldn’t leave a 5 star review that I wasn’t to leave any. We are forbidden to visit a resident that we befriended when mom was living there. Any further harassment will be filed as a complaint against the manager/owner.

I had my mother there from March 22 to March 23. The beginning there was only one staff member for two floors. I think now they have one staff member on each floor. In that time my mother fell 8 times even with a bad alarm. I would often show up and find her depends wet. The food is mostly starch, very little protein. Sometimes when I would walk through the front door, there would be a strong smell of urine. The manager promises much. They did help us when we had a concern. I find the managers Unprofessional, they care more about the image, the look than the actual caretaking
