Our mother was looking to move to an assisted living residence, our first stop was Laurel Heights. We then visited another several locations in Edmonton, needless to say she chose Laurel Heights for her new home. Now over the last few months, from initial, to move, to her now living there, our family has had the pleasure of interacting with all staff, but in particular Sherin Mohammed. What a gem he is!!!! All staff have been welcoming, respectful, happy, and helpful. Our piece of mind has come to our family knowing how they care and treat our mother each and every day. We would not hesitate to recommend Laurel Heights and Optima Living as a beautiful place to call home for your senior member looking to move to a retirement residence. Laurel staff prioritize and go above and beyond to ensure your family has a positive experience and that your family member is happy in their new home. Five stars to everyone at Laurel Heights!! Our loved one has been with Laurel Heights from independent living to supported living. Absolute kindness and support, with massive communication and team work by every single staff member. We truly wish our loved one could stay forever at Laurel Heights, this whole team has gone out of their way and absolutely highly recommend! Thank you so much to such a great team!

My experience with Laurel Heights, where my mother lived for over 10 years ,is very positive. She went from totally independent living to very dependent for the last three months. She was on the waiting list for higher care. The nurses and all the staff jumped in and did more than their duty to make my mother feel comfortable and cared for. Laurel Heights made her feel like home. She loved the activities, social gatherings and the possibility to play piano. During her last few weeks, while she was hospitalized, she had only one wish, to go back to Laurel Heights. The staff is very friendly , attentive , and passionate. She made some wonderful friends throughout her time there. The building and the apartments are spacious, clean ,and bright. Management is helpful , knowledgable , and truly cares about each resident in the building. Dr. Aradi is a very diligent , reachable, and personable physician, who even contacted my mother in the hospital. I am very grateful that my mother was able to spend this last decade of her life in this wonderful facility.
