My already over weight mild dementia parent is gaining more weight after one year. They don’t watch the diet and they don’t exercise enough. Also, I don’t believe in pet therapy as they charge over $1000 for deposit and $200 of that is the yearly fee. Discouraging therapeutic animal visits! I come in and sign in and out of the binders regularly. The binder is constantly closed for no reason if there is one complaint about having a binder open because of personal information that’s not really a very good reason because you just have to simply open the binder and the information is there. But to spread germs on an open and close binder as well as using a common pen, I can control the pen, but I can’t control how often I have to touch that binder. I can wash my hands. But whatever manager has made a decision to close the binder after every signature needs to be realistic.

My sister, Carol, has been a resident in your facility for three years. Whenever I visit my niece, I have had the opportunity to visit her. During these lengthy visits, you generously provided a pleasant room for us to eat, laugh and exchange family stories. I have observed the genuine and happy manner in which your attendants care for her needs. I am also impressed with the nutritious, variety and nicely plated food. And your facility is secure and clean. Thank you!

My mom lives here and the staff are very courteous and polite whenever I visit. However things have changed recently. Mom pays $3K a month for a small suite and breakfast and supper daily. Some of the meals are complete, but some are not. Any other services have a charge on them that can get out of hand very quickly. Extra pain med (Tylenol): $9 per. Cleaning is $30 hour, but they are in and out in 15 minutes. Her suite has carpet in some areas that desperately needs to be removed and replaced with Laminate as all suites offered now have, but this will only happen is she moves to a different suite or she passes.
