New retirement residence, I moved in the first of February, 2025 and am more than pleased with the building and management of the Lighthouse. Caring Christian atmosphere I am happy with my choice to move into the Lighthouse.

The Lighthouse in Edmonton has been a wonderful new home for us—above expectations. Coming from a large home and enjoying our yard, flowers, get-togethers with our kids, grandkids, and friends, we left it behind a little sooner than we ever would have expected it to happen. But the Lighthouse building project came into view, and slowly we became used to the idea of having to make a change. Now, half a year after moving in, we can say—wow, what a blessing. We have a beautiful two-bedroom apartment (yes, much smaller than our 2,800 sq. ft. house). Yet looking back, there were a lot more blessings than the hardship of having to leave stuff behind. The Lighthouse has truly been a ‘lighthouse’ in our lives—a new way of living that has exceeded our expectations of what community living is. We enjoy a very caring and loving environment and have experienced here that all staff go above and beyond to make this a wonderful place to be. Getting to know new residents moving in has been interesting—each of us has a story to tell, and there is room for all here.

I am writing on behalf of my mom who moved into the Lighthouse in February. The apartments and common spaces are expertly designed with seniors in mind. The exterior building and interior spaces are modern, beautiful, warm and welcoming. The staff have exceeded our expectations. They have been consistently flexible, friendly, supportive and helpful. I truly can not speak highly enough about the team here. Ten stars if I could! Highly recommend 👌
