I want to thank everyone I encountered at the Lisaard house from the last few days. They are all so warming and welcoming. They are all so helpful and accommodating. If you are able to donate food, supplies, and/or your time I recommend supporting them. This is such a lovely environment. They do the most for the families that pass through here. I can't express enough how much I appreciate them all.

My grandfather in-law spent his last moments here. He was waiting for a bed for a bit and I was so relieved when I got the call that a room had opened up. After spending so much time in the hospital I knew this setting would be so much better. The space itself is beautiful, both inside and out, lots of natural light, great food, resources and lots of toys for young visitors.!The staff is absolutely amazing, my grandmother in-law had a huge soft spot for Mark and spoke very highly of him- Mark, thank-you for bringing the human aspect into your bedside manner and care of patients. It is so nice to not just feel like a number in a hospital chart and to have providers who really truly care and cry alongside you. Nobody wants to have to think about hospice, but we’re thankful in this journey that this was the hospice we got. Thank you.

As much as it isn’t ideal to visit here, they make it a wonderful place. The food is wonderful, the place is homey and the patients there are very well taken care of. The volunteers who greet people at the front door are consistently so welcoming and kind. The PSW’s, nurses and doctors are also great with such incredible bedside manner. My grandfather specifically loves Mark and Joy who are such lovely people. The actual house is gorgeous with a beautiful sun room that looks out to the woods and they have sliding glass doors that look outside in every room so the patients have lots of bright sunlight and they have bird feeders outside every window so they can be in their bed and watching the many different kinds of birds who visit! This is a wonderful home and you truly couldn’t find a better place for your loved one than here.
