The care provided by the staff is good, and the caregivers are attentive and compassionate. I was also told that many Italian seniors reside here, yet there is very little that reflects Italian culture, language, or cuisine. For a residence with such a large Italian population, this is disappointing. The food quality is another major concern. Since the chef was changed, the meals have declined significantly. Portions are small, and the food is often either too salty or too spicy. Cumin seems to be used in many dishes, making meals repetitive and unappealing. Meals frequently include items such as hot dogs and sausage links, which many residents do not consider appropriate or appealing as regular menu choices in a senior residence. Frozen vegetables also appear to be used regularly, affecting the overall quality and taste of the meals. I have spoken with several residents, both men and women, and many share the same concerns. Some have told me that the food is simply not edible. Good nutrition and effective communication are essential in a senior residence. While the care itself is appreciated, I hope management listens to residents and families and takes steps to improve the food quality, address the language barrier, and better reflect the cultural needs and expectations of the residents.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Sandra and all of the staff who cared for my dad- most excellent care ever!!! They go out of their way to treat residents and their families like family. Very clean facilities also.
