Worst experience ever. If I had read the reviews ahead of time, I would never have let my poor deceased mother get placed there.

My father was there for 4 months. Had now idea how to use a call bell. Didn't understand notes and messages in his room Because he could walk, they considered dad as independent. Dad was cared by us... 11 years. Had showers 3 times a week. At Melville, every Thursday. He was never shaved or washed. He couldn't do it. Dad called me in December, said," the toilet is full of blood. I called his nursing station. No answer. I left a message. No return call, so I called 911. When my dad returned to the nursing home, his nurse had NO idea he was there. Absolutely pathetic. A day later, dad was full EKG patches. Therefore no one helped him with daily care. I could go on and on. One of the kitchen staff came in a section where my daughter and I were having lunch with dad. She said, " try this crap food that they are giving. Please never send your family. Member there. Reporting our incident to the better business bureau. I lost my dad.

This is the worse nursing home I’ve ever heard of. My father passed away in March and they continued to debit my dad’s account for April and May care!!! We now have to get a lawyer to recover my dad’s money back.
