My father has been at Middlechurch home since February 2024. The facility is older but clean, the rooms are large and have lots of natural light. The staff goes above and beyond to help care for the residents. Thank you!

My mom arrived there’s couple of weeks ago and I can’t say enough about the level of care my mom has received from all the staff! They are warm, friendly, funny and so willing to attend to her needs as well as the other residents needs. The staff create such a positive environment for the residents which is reflected back from my conversations with the residents. Walking throughout the building one is met with a “Hello” and a friendly smile! You feel the warmth and friendliness! I am so happy my mom is there.

If i could give 0 stars I would. My grandma was there for 52 days and now she is now no longer with us. Even though she had family visiting every single day. Raising concerns, monitoring, doing everything you think you should do to help keep your loved one safe when they go into a home it made no difference. The staff (if you can find one at all) do not care about the residence. I was there when they told my grandma to pee herself. I even offered to help them get her to the bathroom but no. I was there when the other residence grabbed my hand begging me to help them to the bathroom and when I finally found a staff member I was told "just ignore they do it all the time" Pee?!!! They pee all the time ya I would think they would. And I was there when they called my mother and told her my grandma wasn't doing well that day and asked if we wanted them to call an ambulance. When we arrived 15min later (we had to get there) they were surprised and told us they hadn't even called the ambulance yet as they were doing paperwork. When I went into my grandma's room she was in there oxygen machine beside her and another resident trying to help her as there were no staff around. (Guess paperwork is more important then keeping her alive) my grandma passed a week after. Do not I repeat do not send your worst enemy there no one deserves to be treated and live like that. I worry for every poor soul that is still stuck in that hell hole. And my heart breaks for those who have no one looking out for them. I'll give the 1 star to the one health care aide who made my grandma's final days there bareable as she truly did care. To bad there aren't more people like that aide.
