Doctors promised for prospective residents yet they don't show up or don't respond when requested for an appointment when they do appear. Place has flawed flow of communication and information for residents. The care is terrific of psws

Both my parents lived at MH for approximately 5 yrs. Staff are wonderful. Physical therapy department WONDERFUL. PSWs and nursing staff compassionate, gentle, caring, can’t say enough good things. Finance dept., super helpful, explains any financial question with ease. They breakdown the equation/concern, then everything makes sense. Customer service/welcoming/family liaison/social work departments AMAZING. They’ll solve any problems/concerns in a win/win outcome. Recreation department should also be named entertainment department. Outings/musical guests, movies, pub nights, curling, gardening, bocce ball, floor hockey, jewelry making, and the big favourite for residents: BINGO!!! The kitchen staff dresses up for all the holidays, Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, Halloween, St. Patrick’s day…. Truly a great long term care facility!!!

My Mom was in this facility and she received the very best care a person could receive. The staff are truly wonderful and their dedication and compassion shines through emensly. The staff are very understanding and supportive of the family members and what we go through. If you have to put your loved one in a LTCH, Mount Hope is the BEST choice you could make for your loved one.
