I am very satisfied with the care from my PSWs that have come to help me. Tenesha and Bridget have worked so hard to help me out and has made noticable differences and is improving my QoL. Bridget is so kind and thorough and attentive, and a joy to talk to. Our personalities mesh well and we laugh and talk about so much. i can tell she works to learn who i am as a person and how she can best show up for me. Tenesha provides an unbelievably high level of attunement in care with a comfortable and comforting demeanour that makes me feel safer from the moment she walks in the door. we have set up things so i maintain much autonomy while also implementing routines and both PSWs accommodate my specific and unique needs for my illness without hesitation. the management have been so kind and caring. we are so happy with this service and my doctors are so beyond impressed with the care that i am getting. particularly from tenesha - everyone in my life is very much Team Tenesha for how compassionate and attuned her care is. She makes me broth every week to help me get electrolytes in because i don’t tolerate electrolyte drinks well. she makes all my recipes better than i ever could. she is very easy to be around in silence and to chat. she catches on to little patterns in my health quickly, often faster than me. when i get nervous or overwhelmed, she is able to meet me where i am at and help me every time. i am so lucky you paired Tenesha and me to work together. i feel so much more human since receiving care with your team. i was so scared going into this being only 31, and your team has met me in a way that upholds my dignity and humanity, which is such a gift, although it should be the norm everywhere. i have a long road ahead of me to hopefully reach a sustained higher baseline for my ME, and, i feel so much relief knowing i have your support to make sure i am well cared for every week. thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.

My concern was post operative care following major surgery.(Radical Mastectomy-left breast) Nancy Jones, CareDesigner, for, Nurse Next Door, attended my residence, punctually, upon my enquiries. She presented herself as a very warm, personable, knowledgeable, insightful and compassionate professional - patiently and thoroughly explaining every option of care available to me - removing any hesitation, in retaining her services!! Nurse Marjorie, was assigned to my daily care. Can't say enough about Nurse Marjorie! She was everything I had hoped for: punctual (Snowy weather and long walk to house from parking lot) - friendly, personable, professional.(carried big bag of essentials - bandages, disinfectants, ointments, vitals equipment(blood pressure oxygen, temperature etc. applied each visit) She was comforting ,gentle and soothing in her competence re: cleaning and swabbing my stich lines (ensuring against infection). The Big Moment was the removal of the drain tube apparatus attached to the incision pocket. Drawn through the incision hole was an apparatus 8 inches long and 1/2 inch wide. Margorie's skill set got it done, deftly and as mercifully as possible! - Not a job for the squeamish or the unskilled!! Marjorie was caring, compassionate and competent!!! She relaxed me, removed all my anxieties!!! IN A NUTSHELL: FIVE STARS OUT OF FIVE TO BOTH NANCY AND MARGORIE NO HESITATION WHATSOEVER IN RECOMMENDING "NURSE NEXT DOOR HOME CARE SERVICES"

Due to a family emergency in Toronto I was able to reach Nurse Next Door from the US and a nurse was available to my family within hours of contacting them during the Christmas season. The staff were helpful and did what my family needed in this situation. We only needed them for 2 days. I highly recommend them and would call them again if needed.
