Attention: Mr. Ken Fraser We are writing to let your executive leadership team know about what a Wonderful, Thoughtful and Caring General Manager you have working for you at the Pacific Carlton in South Surrey. Mr. Tanner Tredgett is so kind and engaged with all the residents who are fortunate enough to live at the Carlton. Our Mother has enjoyed a very full and happy life there for over 10 years! With the passing of the years and Mom now being close to 100, and a little forgetful, having someone like Tanner has been such a blessing for us. Our Mother no longer has any close relatives that live near her and Tanner ensures he keeps us informed of any concerns. He has helped us arrange extra care to come in for our Mom and if something new comes up, we know he will notify us quickly, so we have the ability to arrange the trip to the Carlton to help our Mother with any changes. We don't know what times' passing and the future will bring for our Mom, but we hope she will be able to continue to stay at the Carlton where she has been so happy under the watchful eyes of Tanner Tredgett. My Dad lived here for almost 4 years, and during that time I had emailed the Mgmt. 3 times with my contact info (clearly stating who I was) and not one response. Suffice to say my Dad languished in a hospital bed alone for 8 days after suffering a stroke in his assisted living suite at Pacific Carlton. Once he passed away, his POA slash lawyer took 8 days to find my contact info in my Dads unit. Had my contact info been filed with the front desk management, the POA could have contacted me whilst my Dad was still alive in the hospital (theoretically). This silly house rule needs to be revisited and revamped in order to avoid a similar scenario from happening again.
