A Heartfelt Review for Victoria Todd As a massage therapist, I understand the profound importance of holistic therapies, especially in settings where individuals are nearing the end of their lives. My grandfather was a resident at Hilltop, where he spent his final years. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to witness Victoria’s incredible work during this time. Living out west, I would frequently fly back to Ontario to offer holistic modalities such as sound frequency, therapeutic touch, and tuning forks—practices that offer something different from the usual approaches found in care homes. What struck me immediately about Victoria is her ability to recognize the deep value of these gentle yet powerful modalities. Her understanding of the healing power of touch therapy and energy work is something that is much needed in elder and palliative care. I’ve seen firsthand how her presence positively impacted my grandfather's remaining time at Hilltop. As a therapist myself, I truly appreciate her ability to connect with the elderly in such a compassionate and effective way. Her work goes beyond physical healing—it’s about offering comfort, connection, and a sense of peace, which is vital in the care of those nearing the end of their lives. As a contracted fitness instructor at Hilltop, I’m continually impressed by the warm and welcoming environment every time I walk through the door. Victoria and Stella went out of their way to make both my wife and me feel right at home as we prepare to teach karate classes here. The atmosphere is beautiful, with thoughtful seasonal décor that adds a special touch and always lifts my spirits. It’s truly a joy coming to Hilltop—I’m excited to be part of this wonderful community.
