My father has been here for two years and is bedridden. The facility is very clean and the staff is very attentive to the patients. I am very pleased that we were able to get my father into this nursing home.

I had the pleasure of getting to know the Queen's Garden Durand neighbourhood - administrative and care teams. From kitchen, to laundry, to cleaning, to recreation, activities, hairdressing, physiotherapy, faith team, PSW's, nurses, doctors ... and beyond. My husband's Aunt moved to Queen's Garden at 102 years young. Spry, cogniscently vibrant - filled with kindness, deep faith, joie de vivre, a hearty laugh and sense of humour. She recently passed at 104 years old and lived a purposeful life of service through to her final six-weeks. The care, professionalism, engagement both with resident's and their families, protectiveness, pro-active care and attention to detail was exemplary. They truly have made Queen's Garden their residents' HOME, treating each - as well as families - with dignity and respect. Also a great sense of humour and fun intertwined. There is a reason Queen's Garden is the top rated LTC home in Hamilton - their pride in this designation is evident as they strive every day to bring their very best to the care of their residents. Simply, from the bottom of my heart, Thank YOU Queen's Garden!

Queens Garden was a great place for my Mom, age 93, who adapted fairly well after moving from her house in March 2018. She resided in the Dundurn Wing. Staff was always very friendly with her and family. As Mom’s health, mobility and cognition declined, staff adjusted quickly to her increasing support needs. Of all homes I visited on tours, Queens Garden was the most clean of them all. The food was excellent. Laundry done well. Bathrooms kept clean. Recreation and activity program were excellent. Mom participated in several of those from outings to parks, malls and gardens to bingo, music events, luncheons, birthday parties, and car rally at Queens Gardens.
