  I would like to thank Right at home for providing excellent care for the last few months of my step mother's life. Paige was amazing. She was very knowledgeable and helped us with anything we asked of her. Her caregivers where all great. Special thanks to Ainom for being with Bev on her last day and providing excellent care. I would have no problem recommending Right at home.

  A very young friend recently had to go through Chemotherapy for a breast cancer diagnoses. There was no one available to help with her home care and also for Cold Capping which is what cancer patients can use to stop hair loss. Cold capping takes place on the day of Chemotherapy and is very demanding, requiring patience and skill and lasts for 7 hours. I could not find ANYONE, family nor professional nursing care, who was available to help. Cancer can be extremely overwhelming, both for the patient and for loved ones. 48 hours before my friend's first chemotherapy treatment no one was available to help. The stress was not allowing me to sleep or function properly. And then, a direct answer to prayers came. Paige Farquharson with RIGHT AT HOME called me. She told me not to worry about anything. She promised to be by our side for the entire process and take care of my friend's home care, and also the full day at the hospital during Chemotherapy treatment. Paige and Hamideh, another Right at Home nurse, met us at the hospital and took on every task and responsibility. The professionalism, skill, compassion and care they demonstrated was unlike anything I had ever experienced before. Paige even visited my friend and called her on her own time to assist in any way that she needed. Who does this? Who is as selfless and caring and giving like this? Paige. Hamideh, and Right at Home was a direct answer to our prayers. She is a true blessing. My friend's next round of Chemotherapy is coming soon and Paige and Right at Home will be with us again to help in any way possible. Thank you

  I would highly recommend Right at Home Vancouver. After calling a number of agencies I found Right at Home flexible and most willing to work with me. When I first started using them it was more to make sure my husband had someone with him when I was out. My schedule changed almost daily and yet they were more than willing and able to accommodate these changes. If a care worker was scheduled to work 4 -5 hours and I wanted them to stay longer they always agreed. They also not only gave my husband amazing attention, they looked for chores to do around the house they wanted to help any way they could. As my husband (who was dealing with cancer) needs changed and we required 24 hour care, Right at Home made it happen. They figured a way to have the same 4 care workers assigned to us. These care workers were AMAZING they were so kind, compassionate and caring it was amazing. Both myself and my husband felt 100% comfortable with them and they felt like family. They were very skilled, knowledgeable and on top of every need my husband had, nothing was ever a chore for them... they helped him with his daily personal care, administered his med, made him what ever he wanted to eat and most of all gave him as many "spa treatments as he wanted". We had many visitors and they were kind to anyone that enter our home. Everyone loved them. Near the end he was in the hospital a lot and they would come to be with us in the hospital, whatever we needed where ever we needed the help Right at Home made it happen. And there was always someone available 24/7 to discuss any concerns or scheduling needs. Bill, the owner was also amazing to deal with. With all the stress in our home Right at Home gave us comfort and I can't thank them enough Sandy Young
