Our students from Sparks Music Academy regularly visit Scarborough Retirement Residence to perform for the residents, and every single time we leave with such warm feelings in our hearts. The staff are always incredibly welcoming, kind, organized, and genuinely happy to see the students. They make everyone feel comfortable from the moment we walk in. You can truly feel that they care deeply about the residents and work hard to create a positive atmosphere. What stands out the most is seeing the residents themselves — smiling, talking with each other, laughing, enjoying meals together, participating in activities, and really feeling like a community. There is such a warm and lively environment in the residence. Many residents sing along during performances, clap, share stories, and show so much appreciation to the children. It is beautiful to see a place where seniors are not isolated, but surrounded by care, friendship, conversation, music, and joy. Our students always look forward to coming back because the residents and staff make every visit so meaningful and special. Thank you for always welcoming Sparks Music Academy so warmly into your home!!!

This retirement residence has the most beautiful energy that is present from the moment you enter. The team is extremely attentive and truly care about the health and well-being of the residents. They continue to go above and beyond expectations.

Family. This is what you can consider yourself upon moving into this retirement residence. I moved my uncle here just over four years ago and he has been treated with the utmost kindness and attention one could ask for. Sadly he recently passed away, however his passing due to old age was made more comfortable by the love and dedication of the wonderful staff. I cannot give enough kudos to all management, care workers and fellow residents who assisted my wife and I in the final day's of his life and in the stress free chapel service to honour him. My sincerest gratitude to all at Scarborough retirement residence.
