Scenic Acres / Cogir Retirement Living , is set in a quiet neighborhood w easy access to lots of venues & major roads . Our mom has been a resident for 3 years and enjoys her new life style as a resident there . There are many good reasons why she continues to live there…. The Management team is outstanding, super kind , helpful and compassionate about the people who live there. The nurses and LPN ‘s are also great and care very much about the well being of our Mom . The property has just been renovated …. It was in need of a face lift & Cogir have out done themselves with all of the major repairs. The final results are absolutely Stunning !!! There is a fair amount of things to do both indoors with lots of games , musical entertainment , pet pals dog therapy, scenic bus tours and shopping bus trips just to name a few . Throughout the year , they host several events for families to dine w them for dinner on special occasions like Easter , Thanksgiving etc . They also have a private dining room which we have used a few times to enjoy a meal w mom & all of our family , privately. We have also used the Chapel , to host mom ‘s 95th birthday last year . Warren , the culinary manager helped w our menu , setting up the room and hosted 47 people & mom didn’t have to leave the property, all friends & family came to her. Mom enjoys living there & loves walking around the beautiful property all year long . Thankfully it’s mostly flat and easy walking . Everyone employed @ Scenic Acres are super friendly & have our loved ones needs at the top of their list . I special thank you to Gareth who does an Outstanding job operating Scenic Acres Retirement and very dedicated to making sure our family members are well taken care of 💖🙏 !!! As a family , we love having Mom living at Cogir , knowing that she is being well taken care of with all of her needs from the Scenic Acres staff . Thank you to all of the wonderful , kind and helpful staff @ Scenic Acres ❣️💗👍🤗🥰 Betty P & family

Stayed in this facility while recovering from illness, the care, friendliness and attention from all levels of staff was hugely above the standard. The meals and entertainment, activities kept me going. I’ve recovered there and able to move back home. Without the support I’d likely still be in hospital. I’ll miss so much including the other residents.

My Dad lives here and we are very pleased with the quality of care he receives. Many activities, lots of food choices, great community feeling. Recent renovations have made the space very pleasant. Staff are engaged and kind. Administration is easy to work with and are understanding and accommodating. My Dad is thriving here, he was a bit rough coming out the hospital and living in his own. He has gained weight and is active again and walks everyday. Again, very pleased and would recommend it to anyone.
