Quite disappointed in this extended care centre. My Aunt is so over medicated on a sedative antidepressant that she can't stay awake to visit with friends and relatives that come to visit her. She has seriously deteriorated since she became a resident there. Don't like the way that this nursing home is set up - it seems more like a high security prison than a home for seriously ill, old people. My Aunt appears to be so miserable here that I almost wish that she would pass away soon to be out of her misery. When I was young I worked as a nurse's aide in a much better nursing home, so this one seems like a let-down.

My Father-In-Law has been living at Shepherd's Care Eden House for a few years now and we couldn't be happier with the experience! We know he is in loving hands as they take such wonderful care of him. If you're looking for a care facility for your loved one, I can't recommend Shep Eden House enough!

OMG, the staff here are AMAZING. ❤️ -I just came from visiting my dad and the 3 HCAs on shift worked tirelessly for my father and the other residents, literally sprinting back and forth and even when they returned from their break they were energetic and happy and a joy to talk to about my father and his needs. -The last time I was here I had the same experience with the gentleman HCAs on that day. (Last Sunday) They are all approachable and even included me in his care and respected my concerns. ❤️ -At one point my father's dinner was interrupted and his food was cold by the time he was able to continue eating and the HCA took it upon herself to heat up his food again WITHOUT being asked. ❤️ -I am so grateful to have my father here. I have no worries about him in the hands of this staff at Eden House. They are all doing their best. Everyone I talked to was happy, kind and approachable! -This is a huge contrast to my experience at VANGARD. No comparison actually. It's hard to believe it's all the same company.
