The prices at South Granville Park Lodge nursing home are EXTORTIONATE! They’re driving patients into bankruptcy. They range from $10,000 to $15,000 per MONTH! Who can afford that? Their rates need to be widely publicized. Nursing homes that drive you into bankruptcy.

After living beside this place for close to a decade, I am now seriously considering moving. They’ve been under nonstop construction for years. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve been woken up by hammering at 7 a.m. Working from home feels close to impossible. Jackhammering, drilling, trucks beeping all day. One summer, we were treated to their exposed air vents blasting noise all summer long. The projects take months, often with just a couple of workers per day. Their staff lack consideration for neighbours. We regularly get weekend wakeup calls with slamming dumpsters at 6 a.m. The staff who leave shift at 11 p.m. don’t mind chatting outside in the alley for sleeping neighbours to hear.

I can't even express the deep sense of comfort and peace of mind we now have with mom here. She began living here in Jan 2023, and immediately loved it. We got a phone for her room, but she's never in it because she's doing all of the activities they have every single day! Everyone I've spoken to there has been kind and helpful at all times, and you can tell that the staff really want to be there and enjoy their work. Can't recommend enough, but you'll want to get on the waiting list so when the need arises you'll be at the top. We were on the list for 6-7 years before needing a different living solution, and we got the very next available room within a couple weeks.
