Sunnybrook Bayview’s Pallitive Care Unit is in the K wing. The rooms are modern and nicely appointed with windows overlooking the beautiful gardens and plenty of shelves, hooks and cupboards for personal storage. The staff there were all amazing and I was especially impressed with Nurses Marcus and Simona who immediately understood my Mother’s special needs and provided excellent professional care to her.

My Father was recently cared for by the wonderful Palliative care team at Sunnybrook. Dr Selby ensured we were engaged and fully informed of my Dads end of life journey. The staff were friendly and were always willing to assist us with our needs. Thank-you for all your support.

After reading the ratings of people's experiences, I was left with a negative impression of the palliative unit that my grandfather was being admitted to. The unit maybe a bit outdated but the healthcare team is phenomenal. They try their best to accommodate our needs. The nurses and doctors delivered excellent patient care and educated us on what to expect. I hope this review gives you some reassurance.
