  We moved into the Manors Village at Signature Park three months ago. Often first impressions are most important - and that was certainly the case with The Manors as our first contact was with the Marketing Manager, Terry Fiell. Terry showed us a suite which met all our desires - location, layout, and size - signing the lease was an easy decision. She was also very instructive on all facets of the move: procedures, connecting services, and contacts with other key staff, making our move-in easier and smoother. We have enjoyed all aspects of the Food Service - quality of meals, table service and meeting diet restrictions. The Residents here make for a friendly, communicative and pleasant community atmosphere.

  Manor Village at Signature Park is situated in a lovely area with many services and amenities and with easy access to other parts of the city. We were impressed with how friendly and engaging both staff and residents were when we toured MVSP. We are now settled into independent living in our lovely 2 bedroom suite with full kitchen and continue to experience this feeling of care and attention. We enjoy the variety and quality of the meals served by friendly and efficient staff in the dining room with the added bonus of coming to know other residents while dining. Any maintenance we have required has been quickly addressed. There are many activities available to residents both in-house and in the wider community. At the end of a day on the go we appreciate parking in the indoor parkade and the choice of a meal in our suite or in the dining room with company.

  I have now been at the Manor Village at Signature Park for about 6 months and I am so very positive on my experience here. The best part of my experience is that the staff could not be more approachable, friendly, caring and positive, ready to help with any issue. This has made my transition to assisted living very easy and in fact enjoyable. The one or two bedroom accommodation is comfortable, spacious and secure, as is the rest of the building. The meals are served in a lovely, spacious dining room where one can sit with any one of your choosing. There is a gym, a library, open areas where to sit and talk to other residents and there are many varied activities if one wants to partake, but one can also keep to oneself if one so desires. In the summer there is a spacious courtyard where regularly special lunches are served. The residents are very approachable and reflect a variety of life experiences, which makes life here very interesting and leads to enjoyable conversations if one wants to mingle, but no pressure to join. I have had many discussions here with people which I would not have had if I had stayed in my own home. One can live here on one's own terms and at the same time be aware that help, whether physical or social is always available and given with pleasure and care. I am daily thankful that I made this transition and can live my old age here in comfort and most of all in loving and helpful surroundings.
